Dementia Friendly Illinois will be hosting an in-person summit at the Rush University Medical Center this Friday, October 9th. The summit will focus on Sustainability and Growth, including discussion on the strengths, challenges, and goals for Dementia Friendly Communities throughout Illinois.

Research has shown that the Rush #MINDDiet may reduce risk for Alzheimer's disease (AD) by as much as 50%. This diet works indirectly to offset AD by reducing contributing health conditions like heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and obesity.
