We've all experienced the, "Sorry, I almost killed you!" oopsie wave. There's a massive disconnect where drivers do not understand (and do not care about) the risk they pose to people outside of the car.

I have definitely seen more parents riding with their kids on e-bikes. A woman friend of mine bought a place by the 312 River Run and is riding to get around more often. But yes, many friends still tell me they'd love to ride more in the city but they're too scared.
