Great discussion. Very fun. Always a joy getting to talk with @ianxcarlos.bsky.social and company.

Lani and I spent our first of (hopefully) many nights in a van down by the river. Not sure why Matt Foley was warning us all away from this.

Just published a video on the Angel Pylea arc (S2E19–22)—a weird, brilliant mess that wraps up the season in myth, metaphor, and Lorne. 💡 This one explores themes of belonging, freedom, and identity, along with the arc’s treatment of Cordelia and Angel. 📺 Watch here: youtu.be/RJl5nKwd3cg

20+ hours into Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and hit...uhm..."that" part of the story. What. A. Game. For something that feels like a familiar JRPG mix of Atlus and Square, the story is doing some things I can't stop thinking about. Demanded Lani play it JUST so we could talk about it.

Definitely a take that made my brain hurt a little bit. Recording a channel news video this weekend to explain the new content ID delays that are coming. Any other questions/topics you'd like Lani and I to cover?

Episode Guide for Pylea is up on Patreon for early release. The YouTube upload got content ID scanned into the ground. Something has changed with their system and I'm going to have to go through the appeals process. No ETA for now. www.patreon.com/posts/early-...

I’m very very saddened to hear the news about Michelle Trachtenberg. She was an always-bouncing goofy kid, a ray of sunshine. Awful loss.

When I publish something, the first 2 days comments tend to be very kind. Day 3 (like clockwork) heralds the arrival of the 'Well actually's,' the 'not-your-bests,' and the 'you-forgot-to-mentions.' Not bothered by the opinions. It's the fact that I could set my watch to it that I find fascinating.

Got my 1st bout of Covid last week. A wekk of sleeping 20 hours a day. Which...for someone like me who deals with insomnia all the time almost felt more like a benefit. The aches on the other hand...not so much. Those have now cleared however...phase 2 has brought congestion?

What are the best romances in video games? I always thought Shepard hitting on crew members was a little weird. Let alone each of them being a mostly sure thing - as long as you remembered to hit the romance option. Are there any romances in games you found memorable?

If you haven't been able to write your novel, it may not be about the book. It might be about your fears, your belief that you're lazy, that it's time and not energy that's holding you back. All of those things are changeable. You can change them. #WriterThreads buff.ly/3UOBxQF
