ian lasch @ianlasch.bsky.social · 13hthat's definitely good but the paint will adhere better if you re-prime before repainting. when sanding you want to "feather edge" meaning you use fine grit sandpaper (like 200 grit) to make it a sloped edge instead of a noticeable ridge. then prime, paint, and seal, ideally, for best results. 000

ian lasch @ianlasch.bsky.social · 17hyou can brush paint with acrylic if it is well prepped, but it will come off easily if not. spray paint is slightly better, powder coating is best of all if you can afford it. if you have to brush or spray yourself, you also want to finish with an enamel sealant to prevent cracking or peeling. 000
