I think video games is probably the most scrutinized application of AI in final product. Everywhere else its just being rolled out behind the scenes. I think game developers are still trying to tiptoe around the fact that they use it because they know people will be upset

Son, AI has latched onto ALL industries at an alarming pace. Its not just video games. Its music, movies, TV, the internet as a whole, education, all forms of software development, food trucks, medicare, etc.

Its been over 5 years since I played through Half-Life Alyx in two sittings. The experience was so perfect that I felt like maybe I should cement it off, never to play it again. But I think its time. And I think its also time to carry the gnome with me the entire game and get that achievement.
