i got accused of trying to "gatekeep creativity" (lol) because i said one of my many issues with generative AI is that people are skipping over the process of creating and PROCESS IS WHAT MAKES YOU AN ARTIST, not just the finished product.

Yup. Also, an extreme allergic reaction to the nuances of life and love. Most can’t bear the embarrassment of their own ego death, so they project instead of empathize… which is the total opposite of what you’re suppose to do with human-created art.

They do this with a lot of “messy” art and it’s annoying. So telling of the critical and cultural zeitgeist

The kids on this album actually knew a lot about love… I’m sitting here like “Hell yeah” A miraculous album

I love this. Yolanda Adams is a beautiful person inside and out. She just gets it. She gets Christ. I really enjoyed working on this album with her.

This song is the greatest cover I’ve ever heard… unreal. I turn into Unc when this comes on. And yes, Aretha is the greatest (female) vocalist of all time.

Clarity/reduction of messaging. The threat became realer to a lot of ignorant folks by naming “Tylenol”

The thing I don't like about modern period dramas set in the 70s through the early 80s is that nobody is sweaty or hairy enough and everything is too clean and well maintained. Takes me out of the whole experience. Pure revisionism. Do better.

If I don’t have it right now, I’m not supposed to have it YET. And that’s ok. I’m still working on it just to show God that any day now, I’m ready for it.

What a night. I’m honored to have been a part of the Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis’s 40th year celebration as production manager, background vocalist, video content creator & I even got to co-write a couple of the songs performed. I feel like HIM. Grateful to be a part of such a huge musical legacy. 🙏🏾

Am I the only one who is over having to "prove himself"? We do it in school, in our careers, in our relationships, in every aspect of our lives. Especially to people and systems that aren't really impressive. And I think I'm good on it. Either you get it or you don't.

Praising redlining from first principles is what happens when your politics are entirely centered around what you think is or isn’t cool. If your politics aren’t material they’re reactionary
