had an interesting realization…i think at least since the beginning of the industrial revolution civilization has been going through all the stages of grief. denial kicked it off, anger was the world wars, bargaining was the post world war era up to probably the 2010s, and now we’re in depression

i've been playing around with shaders in minecraft and i truly am living the dream right now. i also found a mod that lets me super-customize monster spawning. i created a special mode called "super peaceful" mode where monsters never spawn underground and only spawn on the surface on a new moon

there's too many game consoles. there should be 1 universal console that runs everything. which is why i might just have to buy a steam deck or whatever and live with it. I'm planning to make a game soon, so as a developer who's planning to develop in Godot, steam deck seems like a good bet

silo on apple tv is very good! excellent show about how avoiding inconvenient truths can lead to disaster for everyone. all the more reason to be honest as possible even when it's hard, because the truth is the only thing that can save us. i think. and what is the truth? it's messy, and complicated
