The red and white jumping puzzles are weird. You grab a bubble and the twin you're not playing as just tells you which color is the correct one.

Miracle Girls A cute little snes platformer with some really annoying minigames in place of boss fights. I actual kind of like the idea that when you attack enemies they turn into platforms which can lead to secrets.

Apparently the audio and visuals are also just wrong on the mobile port, but I'm not familiar enough with the original to know for sure. When it's a side by side comparison I can see that the colors are obviously wrong.

Don't think I ever mentioned it, but I played more of that Castlevania mobile port. As far as I'm concerned that port is borderline unplayable and you should never touch it even for free. Just buy the Anniversary Collection or emulate the game.

Having never actually 100%'ed the game led to me learning a lot from the retroachievement set. Got a bunch of heart pieces and upgrades I never knew existed. I have a new found hatred of bombchu bowling and horseback archery.

Ocarina of Time n64 Excited for the remake so I beat the original again. This time I played it with an actual n64 controller and it was pretty different since I've only ever played it on virtual console with a gamecube controller. Didn't mind the camera besides the lock-on being annoying sometimes.

I've always liked how in Pokemon burn, paralysis, and more recently frostbite had the bonus effects of reducing stats. It doesn't matter if paralysis never procs on the enemy if the speed drop lets you kill it first.

That said, the Water Temple was more annoying than I thought it'd be. I thought remembering the hole to the basement would make it quick and easy, but every hallway looks the same and it all blends together on top of being really tedious.

It's been really funny playing through the original Ocarina of Time and seeing how much the game does not want you to get lost. I think the worst moment was Navi nagging me to go check out Death Mountain only a minute after I finished the Forest Temple.
