Am I the only one creeped out because most AI representations of 'attractive women' have the same facial features of Tilly here, regardless of format. The AI decided on this specific geometry as and once you notice it you can't unsee it. So many slop mobile game ads with variations of _this_ face.

The 'teach the controversy' types are, I would argue, ppl who sincerely think that they can alter whether vaccines work or whether dinosaurs existed by amassing enough ppl who believe their alternative to flip the real-world facts. It sounds crazy, sure. But human brains do this _all the time_.

I think we underestimate the % of humans out there who embrace magical thinking, eg think that the facts of a scenario _can be altered_ simply by believing something else. The notion that reality is perception and, therefore, suggestible. It's not just common, it's a core human instinct!

It was a revelation to read (grr, can't find link now) that the reason it hacked is b/c they had _trained it_ on the logs/data from pro hacker competitions, which included exactly the sort of cheat-the-test tactics it ended up using. Now the whole thing reeks of scam.
