It's not been a great day (understatement), but I was able to get some writing done. That's an achievement, and I'm learning to count my blessings. Hopefully tomorrow will be better, and I'll finish this chapter, too.

Suddenly feeling rather low, and my confidence is a little low too, so I'm going to just throw myself into my writing. Writing has been a little hard today (I tried earlier but could get any words out), so I'll be glad if I can just get my 400 daily word goal done.

Between figuring out why Bluesky was down earlier and other things (stuff at home, etc), I haven't been able to write much at all tonight. I'm aiming to make it up tomorrow. I got up to a good bit last night and I want to keep going as soon as possible!

Another chapter of New Beginnings completed. I think there are only 3 more to write now, and an epilogue. I just posted ch12, and I just finished ch15, so... Yep, it's nearly over! I'll post ch13 on Sunday as usual, and carry on writing the remaining chapters.🙂

Okay! 520 words written, and I managed to finish another chapter, too! I'm quite happy with that, but the flow didn't quite feel right so I'll be looking closely at it later on. I think I'll take the weekend off to recharge, and get back to writing on Monday.

I had an idea for a side story to New Beginnings while I was shopping earlier, and I've only just remembered about it. It would feature Phenn, and take place shortly after NB ends. All I have right now is that Phenn would have a dog and go jogging before his shifts in the Tavern, no real plot yet.

Having a break on a busy day, and wow - my energy is draining really fast. I'm also dealing with low confidence again so hopefully that'll pick up soon. I can't wait to throw myself into my writing again tonight, too...

I'm really glad we're getting Erhardt in Octopath CotC (well, the JP version is, but GL will eventually), and another EX for Primrose... Still, why not EX Olberic, Alfyn, or Therion? (Or Theo, Gilderoy or Scarecrow, for that matter?) Let the guys have their EX versions too!

That's another chapter of New Beginnings finished! I breezed past my daily word goal today, so I'm really happy with that. Moreover, I got the big reveal scene done too, and while it threw up a couple of surprises, I like how it's turned out. Time for a break before bed!

Reached my daily word goal! I'm getting to a good bit on New Beginnings now so I want to carry on with that tomorrow. Celsus is about to hear a key part of Pius' mystery! So I need to read my notes a bit closer so I can get it right. Fingers crossed I can do the scene I had in my head justice!

Phew! Got a lot of writing done tonight. If all goes to plan, I might have another little Celsus/Pius fic to post tomorrow, along with the next chapter of New Beginnings. 👀 Still, I tripled my daily word goal, writing nearly 1300 words, and I'm really happy with that!

500 words written, and that was actually quite tough! It feels like an achievement to reach my daily word goal today. It doesn't help that it was an awkward bit to write. Poor Celsus! Knowing that I've got something written, even though I'm distracted. That's good. 😌
