Yup! She gets the best of all worlds: wasting the time and energy of her detractors by making us explain that she’s full of shit, confusing casual observers and softening her image to them, and her supporters all take it as a PR move so aren’t phased by it at all.

She’s posted stuff like this before, and I know for sure that she’s doing it as a deliberate tactic to confuse those who are not really paying attention. Posting one statement that sounds vaguely supportive gets media attention and then casual observers go “I guess she’s changing her mind??”

After leaving streaming, I try to get as many artists’ music as possible on places like Bandcamp as I understand it to be the place that takes the smallest cut from musicians. But I notice a lot of indie musicians have links to every other service than BC. Is there a particular reason for this?

This is a huge yikes. Apparently there’s only one image in the art book that shows clear signs of being GenAI, but it’s extremely unlikely to be the only one used. Doesn’t really come as a surprise that Disnep would do this, but it’s still frustrating and annoying.

Four days of progress on the cardigan I’m making for my mum for Christmas. Once the pieces are the same size I can test the sizing and hopefully finish the sleeves and lapels etc. Then I’m making one for my dad. Same style, different colours. #crochet

I have a friend who worked with nurses and she hates most nurses with a passion and believes the profession attracts awful people. 😅 The only nurse I know personally is a polyamorous non-binary person and a sweetie, so I think my sample is skewed.
