In my city, if you build a new house, you're responsible for a percentage of infrastructure costs. You don't get that back even when you sell. I firmly believe that if a company is doing the building with any sort of 7 figure+ profit margin/assets, then you should consider 100% of it CDB.

Nice! I wasn't saying you didn't. I have been told cruel things because a lot of bike folk think that being disabled isn't an important consideration. I have literally been told that it's my problem, & I make biking worse? I used to bike and walk everywhere. I only got a car after having kids.

I'm disabled, mom, and I live in a largely rural county. Being called names because I love making safer infrastructure for carless transportation, but not without social infrastructure implementation, is fucked up. It's the same coin as car folk telling bike people to eat shit.

I love making biking safer & accessible, but.. It has to come with awareness campaigns for rural drivers to not run us off the road in town. It has to come with ableism awareness. It has to come with compassion for the elderly/rural folk. & you can't do school pickup with 4 kids on a bike.

I just heard @npr.org say "no one knows how to fairly divvy up the bill" regarding the increase in utility costs due to data centers. Easy. Data centers pay. The infrastructure, increase, their own bills. If I walk into a store and fuck up everything in there, I have to pay for it. Why don't they?

Well, it sounds like you're saying that women need to get more creative with their key acquisition methods because it's their responsibility to purchase what they need to fight off attackers, instead of recognizing that the designers of locks, mostly men, have been limiting regular access to keys.
