For 14yrs, the Tories cratered our economy, added thousands to our cost of living, melted down public services and brexited us into decades of eye-watering expense and lost opportunity. That’s still their plan. With tax breaks for the super rich paid for by welfare cuts. So what TF is this headline?

There are 35 million ‘workers’ in Britain. Reform and the Tories consistently vote against workers rights legislation. Reform and the Tories have promised future polices that will further erode workers rights. Any worker who votes Reform or Tory is literally voting against their own interests.

Why is Nigel Farage back on air? Ofcom bans politicians from presenting news programmes, but GB News claims Farage's show is just 'current affairs' despite him using it to defend Reform's £72m in donations. Close the loophole now.

I'd guess they'd been on the drink in Newcastle and were going home. They've got off at Durham and got buses/taxis to wherever they lived. Some people will stay local and some will go into Newcastle for a night out occasionally if you're remotely close.

The ability to pour hundreds of millions of pounds into a loss-making TV channel, bent on wrenching British politics sharply to the right, is yet another of the ways in which extreme wealth is trying to remake UK democracy. It needs to be part of any serious conversation about political funding.

Rui Pinto, the man behind the Football Leaks website, has posted a detailed allegation about Gianni Infantino’s role in UEFA’s handling of Manchester City and PSG in 2014, citing material revealed through Football Leaks. These are Pinto’s claims, and they’re worth reading in full below.
Screenshot of a post by verified account Rui Pinto (@RuiPinto_FL), dated 30 September 2026. Pinto alleges that Gianni Infantino, while UEFA General Secretary in 2014, improperly intervened in investigations into Manchester City and PSG, sharing confidential documents and helping both clubs avoid potentially harsher sanctions. He says the details were revealed through Football Leaks and concludes that Infantino has become “a cancer on football” who should have no place in the game’s future. The post shows 2.2 million views.

An amazing glimpse into Mesolithic everyday life: this more than 7,500-year-old ring was made from heather roots, carefully rolled up and prepared for later use. It was discovered at the settlement of Motala/Sweden, where the same material was used for fish traps. Dating 5750–5550 BC. 🧵1/2 📷me
