Had a great time with @katie4perry.bsky.social at the 2025 Equality Utah Allies Gala. She is a wonderful supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and because of this, I am personally endorsing her in her run for Perry Utah City Council. Thank you Katie! #equalityutah #utpol

The VA is openly blaming the government shutdown on the Democrats. These systems need to stay out of partisan politics to best serve the fine people who have served this country.

As you may be aware, funding for some government agencies, including portions of the Department of Veterans Affairs, expired at midnight this morning.

President Trump opposes a lapse in appropriations, and on September 19, the House of Representatives passed, with the Trump Administration’s support, a clean continuing resolution to fund the government through November 21. Unfortunately, Democrats are blocking this Continuing Resolution in the U.S. Senate due to unrelated policy demands.

During the current lapse in funding, the vast majority of VA benefits and services will continue uninterrupted, but the government shutdown is not without consequences to VA. Here is what you need to know:

It’s stupid that this is even a way I have to think, but I am scared for when my spouse travels without me. Could she be targeted? Would they arrest her and take away the kids? If the government can target people simply by skin color and languages spoke, we are screwed as a society.

Conservative Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote in Monday's decision that the lower court's restraining order went too far in restricting how Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents could carry out stops or questioning of suspected unlawful migrants.
"To be clear, apparent ethnicity alone cannot furnish reasonable suspicion," he wrote.
"However, it can be a 'relevant factor' when considered along with other salient factors."

Found this one in Box Elder County today. Perry, along HWY 89. I don’t think there is any active threat to our community necessarily, but as a queer person married to a person of color, this is always concerning and we need to stomp this out before they feel emboldened.

A sign attached to a light pole that says “UNITED WE STAND PATRIOTFRONT.US” The lettering is mostly blue with some red and an image of a red snake surrounding a blue pole painted on the sign.

Thank you to @indivisiblebe.bsky.social for putting together this great protest here in Brigham City. We have a great community here and I hope to continue to gather together more freedom loving people.
