Icon Film Distribution has announced that The Influencer Project will arrive in UK and Irish cinemas on 16th October 2026. The found-footage horror comes backed by The Blair Witch Project co-creator Eduardo Sánchez and producer Gregg Hale, trading up the haunted woods of Burkittsville for the digital space. Directed by Mike Nybroe in his feature debut, the film stars real-life British beauty and lifestyle creator Chiara King, who boasts over 4.2 million followers on TikTok and 1.4 million on Instagram. Blending mockumentary footage, raw livestream feeds, and psychological horror, the film pulls directly from King’s own encounters with stalkers to ground its escalating tension in a chilling, all-too-familiar reality.
