Today, DC has announced the launch of "Runway to Ruin," the first-ever crossover event for DC GO!, DC's mobile-first webcomics imprint available on DC Universe Infinite. To mark the end of filming, the BBC and MGM+ have today released the first glimpse of Matthew Macfadyen as George Smiley and Charlie Hunnam as Alec Leamas in Legacy of Spies. It's a strong week for DC Studios properties in the streaming world. Supergirl continues to ride high on the HBO Max film charts whilst her cousin Superman performs strongly on Netflix in the territories where it's available. Meanwhile the studios latest live-action series, Lanterns, has just been confirmed to hold on in the Nielsen streaming charts for another week. Despite not debuting during its first couple of weeks on the air, Lanterns made its first appearance on last week's chart with 500m minutes watched across episodes 1-4. Christopher Lee’s historical 1958 performance as Count Dracula is returning to cinemas and physical media in near flawless quality. Hammer Films, alongside Silver Salt Restoration and Warner Archive, has announced Dracula: The Definitive Uncensored 4K Restoration, arriving in UK cinemas nationwide from 16th October and hitting 4K UHD and Blu-ray on the 26th October. This release marks the most complete version of Terence Fisher’s gothic masterpiece ever shown in the UK and US. Originally trimmed by censors for graphic bloodletting and suggestive imagery, the lost footage survived via an original Japanese theatrical print and has now undergone extensive digital cleanup, stabilisation, and colour restoration to revive Hammer’s signature Technicolor palette.

In 2006, a show seemingly came out of nowhere to take the world by storm, rivalling heavyweights at the time, such as Lost and 24. Created by showrunner Tim Kring, Heroes became an immediate worldwide phenomenon upon its release and maintained its success throughout its gripping first season. Back then, the line 'Save the cheerleader. Save the world' was inescapable, and you had this show to thank for it. BBC Studios, CinemaLive and Fathom Entertainment are inviting fans to experience Doctor Who: The Satan Pit Extended Cut, one of the most celebrated adventures of the Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler era, on the big screen for the first time, with a special one-night-only Doctor Who Day cinema event taking place in over 1,000 cinemas across the UK, Ireland, U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand on 23 November 2026. Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios have debuted a final stomach churning trailer for next month's Clayface. The film, directed by James Watkins, is set to roll out in cinemas across the globe from October 23, 2026. This latest look continues to hold back on showing Matt Hagen's (Tom Rhys Harries) final form as the titular Batman villain, hopefully saving that reveal for cinemas.
