I do very much think losing items is part of what makes Minecraft Minecraft playing since 1.2.5 so this sudden turn I've been seeing has been wildly fascinating to me. The one thing I would like to keep on death is XP at this point though. A lot of items I lose are replaceable but the XP's painn 😭

I thought the timer doesn't run if the chunk isn't loaded, you have plenty of time if the death is decently far away from my experience I also thought it was a five minute timer before items despawn on top of that. If it's 15 now that's even better than it was 👀 Turn keepinventory on tho lowkey
