Tomorrow is "Tourist Day," so I have successfully reassembled the entire ensemble I wore to the 2024 Rose Bowl, save for the fact that they no longer make Gatorade Fast Twitch (I drank one every game day morning in 2023 for luck. I specifically brought one to Pasadena just to be sure.)

Dante Moore needed to transfer, had to be a backup, but has been balling out so far this year. CJ Carr has looked pretty great from the drop at Notre Dame. And Bryce has shown signs and misses in two years.

So I have a theory on the five star thing. I really do believe that so many of them are so physically gifted, particularly the quarterbacks, that they never have to posit "what happens if this doesn't work" because it almost always works.

Michigan has many haters, but I submit this for the haters: at least we entertain. Michigan is a popular team to hate in part because by God the payoff is incredible. You may have to endure a couple of national championships here and there, but in exchange you get point guards not allowed to play road games, muffed punts, scoreless rock fights against Northwestern, blown leads, coach suspensions, ever-looming NCAA punishments that never quite materialize, and scandal after scandal. I mean… the vacuums. You can't make this stuff up.
