I think in coercive rape there’s a lot of manufacturing of “grey area”. Wearing women down or guilting them is turned into a game and when those acts are revealed to be incredibly violating they suddenly make a lot of noise about how shocked they were that it wasn’t consensual.

This was the justification I had for staying on there for so long, but as more and more normal people abandoned that website the posts got so much worse that I felt like my brain was actively atrophying every time I saw a post. I didn't just leave, I fully deleted and never regretted it.
