Crossposting this here to spread awareness Someone (Pale) stole Life Bottle Production's work for Phantasia Narikiri Dungeon X, used AI to fill in the rest and is trying to present it as their own They also reportedly did this [shitting out AI crap] for a month straight

It probably was something that ended in me making fun of myself😂

I honestly don't remember the last time I set you up😅

Honestly? I was like 99% that you would count that.

Personally I would recommend you going with either 6 or 3 next. Since they are the closest to Ys Origin gameplay wise. Since 7 has some bigger ties with 6 it also makes sense to play that after 6 at least. 9 probably has the most references to other Ys games so its probably best to play it last.

Which ones did you play so far if you don't mind me asking?

The cutscenes and animations are really great as well. I really hope that Falcom continues to do stuff like that for the next Trails game as well (And there other games too, I guess) #MarkInTheSky

"That is to say, LOVE IS ETERNAL!"

Nothing really to add. Olivier being funny as usual. Also "Kono Dio da" "Wryyyy" an all that.

"A first promise and eternal vow. A sweet promise unkept up till now"

I like Agates face here. Sums up most of my thoughts about humans.

".................................." (I am not counting the dots. Feel free to do so yourself)

I also really like this face.

"True Hurricane"
The upgraded crafts get new animations. This is a really cool way to show how the characters actually get more skilled besides better stats and stuff. I am also a big sucker of characters winking at the camera while doing their special move. Don't really know why, but I think it is neat!

I was always impressed with the fact that they let you choose between two characters which impacts a lot of scenes for multiple chapters. I obviously prefer Agate, but both routes have some fun exclusive stuff. #MarkInTheSky

"Wow, I'm impressed by just how well he can sleep."

I probably shouldn't say this as someone who keeps waking up multiple times in the middle of the night but... Seriously, we are complimenting him because he can sleep like a big boy!? (At least she didn't think about drawing on his face again)

"So... You want to rest here a while?..."

Man Sky has so many memorable scenes for me. I always loved the sandwich break and it really jerks my heart when you come back to the same place.
Also I really like how gentle Agate tends to get with Estelle when it concerns Joshua. Really shows how he started to be more thoughtfull towards other people after the events of the first game.

"I was just thinking how strong women are."

Okay so this is out of context sure, but is it even possible to say that without sounding like the biggest idiot ever?
(I will steal this whenever I make a woman mad at me. I like to live on the edge!)

So here are some random pictures and thoughts in alt: Let's start with Anelace because I like her very much. #MarkInTheSky

You can't resist the call of adventure!

So I decided to post very irregulary (maybe even just this once😅) some stuff about the Second Chapter of the Sky Remake. I will use #MarkInTheSky for that. So mute this if you don't care or don't want to be spoiled.

I really hate all the slop AI and machine translated (MTL) fan translations that are flooding the scene. Years ago, I was ignorant to fan translation sources, but having played many Japanese games for videos at this point, AI or MTL will never understand the nuance of a work of art. Fuck gen AI

True, but I don't know if i would do it often enough (probably not knowing me😅) to be worth it to make an extra tag for it.

I was planning to upload some pictures with random thoughts and jokes about Trails 2 remake. But I am now uncertain if I should do it because of potential spoilers and stuff. I know it is a remake of an older game, but I really don't want to risk spoiling anyone no matter how old the original is😅

I have been waiting for this guy since the second game was released. I will now enjoy being a rat yet again.

Luring me in into picking up Re Zero again by linking it to Ys? You got quite the stratagem there.

No? But if you don't want to participate you have to take a day off.

I am eternally salty that I don't have acces to season 3 yet😭

Mark @honigpaste.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

I am sorry to hear that. Hope your brain finds another bully victim soon👍

Mark @honigpaste.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Today I had to go on a company outing ( I don't know if that is the correct term but I thought it would be better than to call it stupid annoying poop day) Not only did it last longer than my regular working hours for today, I also haven't felt this emotionaly drained in quite a while. Me tired now

150

I kinda have the reverse problem. I really want to play Romancing Saga 2 but my love for Trails in the Sky won't let me bench the remake😂

@honigpaste.bsky.social and me recently walked through S21 in Stuttgart. It has seen better, but also worse days to be honest. We also petted some Animals from the Wilhelma. Like this big scorpion.

Goemon is just a treasure of a franchise. Shame on you Konami for letting it die in the west.

I have been quite busy the last couple of days. So just a quick note that I enjoy the Trails remake so far. And of course I choose Agate over Shera. Also please come back Anelace. I miss your cool Animations already.

I obviously meant to write now. I am having a weird week, okay?

Mark @honigpaste.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

So Romancing Saga 2 is on sale right now. So I know have to figure out a way to play Trails in the Sky Second Chapter Remake, finish Unicorn Overlord and ignore Romancing Saga 2 which I just bought, without burning out. Oh God and next week Total Warhammer gets its biggest update since launch. Miep

Its fun and it has a lot of fun little references to Looney Tunes shorts and characters.

Mark @honigpaste.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Just came back from watching the Coyote vs ACME movie. It was pretty fun. It wasn't as fun to me as The Day The Earth Blew Up but still I would love it if more Looney Tunes movies would be made in the future. (I am also very glad that this movie got saved from "Tax write-off hell")

I repost this every few months, but it's time to do it again. Use this seal! It fits nicely in the awards section on Steam. If you don't use AI, tell everyone about it. I have it both on my store page and in the game itself. Every indie game dev should use this, except the sloppers I guess.

Today the trails remake should be arriving but I probably won't be playing it until friday, maybe saturday. All I wish for is that Estelle won't slap the abused child. Please. Also make Anelace a permanent party member way sooner, I don't care if its not like in the original I want Anelace shut up!

Mark @honigpaste.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Haha...wouldn't it be funny if you couldn't buy the base game in several countries including germany on steam anymore becaus of reasons? Haha. How fun.

so it just occurred to me that Brian from Quest 64 might be wearing some kind of bodysuit which may be inspired by Dragon Quest, but his colors are reversed the first dragon quest came out in 1986 while quest 64 debuted as early as 1998 so it's just interesting to see the inspirations in the art

At least the guy his faithful to his one true love: Adventure. (Also I always figured that he had feelings for Feena but for obvious reasons that didn't work out) BUT ADVENTURE STILL AWAITS!

Mark @honigpaste.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I will steal the phrase acquired a daughter for future purposes. I suspect that I will need it a lot😂

Mark @honigpaste.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

You know that Adol is my favorite Ys character, but I will never forgive his sin of ditching Lilia😂 (Although I do like Feena also very much)
