sister hyde and mary reilly are a close second but you cannot compete with the girlies in the 2026 kokandy production of jekyll & hyde playing at the water tower place now extended until November 8th

more movies should be theatre. let me chop and screw tros for a few weeks I could fix it you just need to move things around, cut some bits, add some more. that's theatre baybee

sometimes i don't care for a production until I see it cast with the right actors, right coreo, right lighting and sets and a lead that can sing the house down and that is fan fiction

fan fiction is good because it is theatre

I watched a bunch of different versions of the story last week's just to compare. and yes, the kokandy production of jekyll & hyde in chicago in the year 2026 is not just the best version of that musical but the best adaptation of the strange case of doctor jekyll and mr hyde period.

lighting and coreo were good to but the CAST. AVA! DAVID! EMILIA! YOU ARE FUCKING STARSSSSSSSSSS

I will be thinking about this cast for the rest of my life. I have seen it twice and want to go again. I have never EVER wanted to see a musical just for the cast. it's jaw dropping. literally the entire theatre was screaming by the end.

anyone in chicagoland even mildly interested in theatre needs to see this NOW. jekyll & hyde is an okay book but HOLY SHIT IS THIS THE GREATEST CAST ALIVEEEE

oh yeah! amazon has a very easy return policy(at least in the US). take a picture and show how fucked up it is and they should be able offer a replacemtn

the most influential of these is obviously the aristocats. I have thought about edgar the mouse eating creme de la creme at least once an hour for about 20 years

It's still International Lesbian Day for one hour here, it counts and colloquially so do these two. Prompt #21, "Love of my life" #OC-tober #scribbles #inamorata

Two women, one in black and one in white, lying on their backs in opposite directions, their heads turned to face each other, fingers loosely playing with one another's hair, noses just barely not touching. They gaze at one another, infatuated.

There is a high possibility that I will draw more Control Resonant fanart later so I'mma make a thread for it here. Starting with some silly doodles. #ControlResonant #ControlResonantFanart #annikART

Little doodle of Dylan Faden with his aberrant, looking sad.
There's text around him: I'm fucked up but I'm trying my best

very fun bb!! not my favorite book, but the cast was having fun and they killed the numbers. a couple of stand out singers that really knew how to play the audience
