In other words, a true New Englander. My dialect is very isolated, with all that blue, haha.

Getting close to a full year on my streak.

I don't typically read Sanderson outside the Cosmere (except, of course, the last three books of Wheel of Time). Giving this a go, though. Read some of the stories; so far they are hit or miss (the misses are still good, but the hits are fantastic).

At the beginning of the season, I was the crazy one who said the Patriots could make it. And we did. Now here's hoping we get the W tonight!!

Snowed in and Patriots football. Hoping for that W!

This is going to be a game. Hoping for that W! #GoPats #LFG #NEPatriots

Let's close out the season well with a W, no Miami miracles today. #NEPatriots #LFG

Insane amount of injuries on top of a division game are what will keep this game close, I think. Hoping for the W! #GoPats #LFG

Other people's most paused moments in shows/movies typically include naked girls or some such. One of my most paused moments:

With likely our toughest game of the entire season, missing key starters, can we manage to pull off the upset and get a W?! #LFG #NEPatriots

This one is personal. Should be a good game today. I'm wearing my Patriots onesie for it. #NEPatriots #LFG

My wife was reading a book to my 2 year old, and she goes, 'Dada!', pointing to a character on a page. The character in question:

I hate the Giants. Don't care if it was preseason.

Forgot to post this picture I took last night of the moon. I took it with my phone, so the quality is only so great. Crazy deep orange that barely comes through, but I thought still worth sharing.

Just watching some Gummi Bears with the girls, when lo and behold, Thom Merrilin shows up. #WoTskies

Probably not true. But he would make an excellent Kallus. Make this true, Disney.

If you see this post an old pic you still love 😍

Picture of my eldest (back when she was a toddler) and me. I'm sitting by the fireplace (no fire) and she is standing to kiss me on the cheek.

People like to play RPG's and stay lower-leveled or under-geared for a better challenge. I like to be over-prepared in boss fights to make them easy. To each their own, just have fun. #ChronoTrigger

020

Homotopy Coder @homotopycoder.bsky.social · 24/06/2025

Oh, you know, just working my way through #ChronoTrigger. These animated scenes weren't a part of the game last I played (25ish years ago).

Homotopy Coder @homotopycoder.bsky.social · 19/06/2025

Got the gear I wanted. Went for a test run against the final boss, just to see how badly I'd be beaten. I won so easily. Finished #FFIV. Amazing game.

Homotopy Coder @homotopycoder.bsky.social · 18/06/2025

Everyone is now max level, but still working on getting their final gear. Almost halfway through the last dungeon. #FFIV

Party level breakdown in #FFIV. Cecil, Rosa, Kain, Rydia, and Edge: all level 99.

030

Homotopy Coder @homotopycoder.bsky.social · 16/06/2025

I couldn't help myself. They had to be 99. Fusoya just happened to be 70. Didn't know he starts gaining stats at 71, or I would have been tempted to take him to 99, too. #FFIV

#FFIV party level breakdown. Rosa, Cecil, Rydia, Edge: all 99. Fusoya: 70.

050

Homotopy Coder @homotopycoder.bsky.social · 15/06/2025

Found a good leveling spot in #FFIV, took about 14 quick (45 seconds each?) battles for Cecil to go from 98 to 99 (with exp augment and Fusoya dead). Rosa, Rydia, and Edge will be 99 soon.

000

Homotopy Coder @homotopycoder.bsky.social · 12/06/2025

Right after picking up Fusoya. I may have issues. #FFIV

Level breakdown of my current FFIV party: Rosa, 86; Cecil, 90; Rydia, 83; Edge, 76; Fusoya, 50.

010

Homotopy Coder @homotopycoder.bsky.social · 07/06/2025

This was just after I picked up Edge. Yang was 72 when he left. Cecil hit 75 a single battle after this. Other people like to beat RPG's as low a level as possible. I want all my people 99. I may be ridiculous, but I'm enjoying it. #FFIV

Party breakdown from FFIV. Cecil is level 74, Rosa is 67, Kain is 68, Lydia is 62, and Edge is 35.

How much garlic does this recipe say to use? Normal people: 2 cloves. My wife and me:

A plate full of peeled roasted garlic bulbs.

Starting up Yumi and the Nightmare Painter. My wife says I'll then understand the references she keeps making (that I don't dont even know she's making).

We can look classy when we lose today. I mean, go Pat's! Also, I wish the Patriots would join Bluesky.
