Like i 100% see WHY ppl didn’t like it, and im not saying it’s like the most incredible thing ever or anything, but it actually pulls off every big offensive swing it takes and its gonna be one of my top movies this year for sure

sabie :3 @holydango.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

holds ur hands. i do not say this lightly, but all the ppl saying they hated it & walked out of this movie r legit wrong and should’ve stuck with it to the end

sabie :3 @holydango.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

i think the vitriol from ppl comes from the movie being vaguely advertised, which brought in the wrong crowd, and then 45min in it shifts in such a way that offends both its pulled AND true crowd BUT. somehow. It pulls it off

greed island does feel a lil slow and the villain isn’t v compelling compared to other arcs, but listen it’s necessary as a return to cheerful shonen baseline. So chimera ant can hit way harder

lrt how it feels talking abt hxh, a series partially about how love can be the motivation behind all number of hurtful destructive outcomes and behaviors, because the breadth of human emotion/experience is beyond a single point of comprehension. And the best examples r Paris Hilton & the boner clown

it’s funny how quickly you get desensitized to comic book nonsense like mister sinister is an insane name for a fictional character it’s so goofy but when i read his name i’m like this is not a laughing matter. we’re talking about cyclops’ traumatic secret laser beam eyeball orphanage surgery backstory. stop laughing.
