According to a new report, Atlantic Industrial Coatings found that workers failed to apply enough primer in some areas and that two materials used in the liner system were incompatible. So no, the damage didn’t “happen because of vandalism.” It was the result of a botched renovation!

I had a fun week traveling around in Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska. For the most part people were friendly (except for that one cranky farmer gal in Iowa) and the weather was fine. Only downsides? The crowds wanting to see the UP 4014 Big Boy were huge and people's driving skills/courtesies suck.
