The word “saves” really bugs me, I need media coverage not to fall for that framing. “Save” is when you get the same thing for less money. Like you negotiate a bulk discount. These are *cuts*. Saving money with cuts isn’t impressive. Don’t tell me about the money, tell me *what* you cut.
