Michiel was invited to the Gangelt Games Festival to showcase our #shmup Schildmaid MX. This small event is focused on #retrogaming and local multiplayer, with collectors bringing in some of their more rare hardware and software for visitors to enjoy. We also made new friends and Schildmaid fans!

I had my PS2 Slim region modded and grabbed me a copy of Arika's excellent port of Espgaluda. Trilogy complete! I played it in MAME in the past, but now I'm naturally more invested and diving in.

Some of you know, but we haven't made a public statement yet... The past few months we've been going at 50% strength as programmer Hans (pictured left) has been hospitalized with a brain tumor. Results from his treatment are positive and I hope beyond everything that my friend recovers - Michiel

Wicked selection there! Personally, I fell in love with the Mayflash F500 & never looked elsewhere 😅 I’ve swapped out various levers & buttons, only got new art for one though. Favourite lever right now in LS-40 with sanwa buttons, my shmup go to stick 🕹️
