Oh wow, that's absolutely tragic. Here's, at least, a beautiful repair job done by @peachflavor3d.bsky.social Scans of this and his other Zelda cover: archive.org/details/zeld... archive.org/details/zeld... (My backlog has to redo the art scans at 2400dpi)

This part on is the shortest way I can illustrate the insanely Zelda-coded labyrinths/bosses/puzzles/vibe without watching more of the show. ('82!) There are better individual sections for things but this rolls A LOT together in a short burst: youtu.be/bL5pNXwUcGc?... Also, lttp and wilds much?

(Thank you!❤️) I was actually really excited to see the new Ocarina of Time map. I think it's very cute! And I'm currently, slowly, working on putting together galleries for some of the smaller Zelda games.

Honestly it's a good size & even worked really well for us with 3 dogs (this was their doggie door) & my spouse doing WFH. We had a storage unit but just for our books lol (& then my art studio stuff that I could have sold but I didn't know if I was going to go back to doing art as a living)

100 years of different flooring cover-ups and then eventually got to the outside, lol. Wish I could have afforded to do a nice covered porch but, good enough, I really loved that little house.

History of Hyrule, Zelda Archivist @historyofhyrule.com · 02/09/2026

Thanks! We lucked out that the original floors were mostly fine (& easily repairable where they needed to be patched because the wood still comes from the area) And then when we redid all the wiring we put up heavy duty beadboard and didn't have to repair plaster everywhere. Little things did a lot!

You are a smarter person than me! 😆 I didn't think of that. God I love this bathroom. Good job! This was mine- as cheaply as we could to look nice. 850sqft house but the extra space for the bathroom came from a mudroom that we could absorb since we could put a tankless water heater in a crawlspace

Yeah! And I have the first chapter's pages in color too! I love them so much. archive.org/details/zeld... The Link's Awakening manga really is such a good adaptation. I don't think there are any color pages for LttP and ?think? these are the only 2 chapters with color pages for LA.

Normally I don't post about auctions but once you start hitting a couple of thousand it doesn't seem like more people knowing about it is going to change anything? IDK but the market is so small at those prices that I imagine the people hunting in that range are probably already actively on it

I was looking for illustrations by Junya Furusawa (the Oath of Lilto) to add to my Mangaka folders and stumbled upon this Ken Sugimori Pokemon art that's currently up for auction. Watching Slowbro climb to nearly 20k has been wild ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/auction/item... (there's a Ditto one too)

IA is still down (I hope its okay) but here's more never-before-online color pages from a #Zelda #manga that I just scanned. This for Oath of Lilto and, yes, it was drawn by an artist who worked on Dragon Ball Z (who also started as a DBZ fan artist!) Shonen King, December 1995

First time ever online: I'll upload the 2400dpi scans to IA when it's back up but I got the 3 color pages for the #zelda Link's Awakening manga by Ataru Cagiva scanned. It's amazing to have these because all the color pages are just in black & white in the collected volumes. G Fantasy June 1994

Never-before-online new scans of 2 unhinged #Zelda #manga! I'm in love with the Bunny-Link one. It's peak early 90's mayhem. You'll be side-eyeing me but it's just fun & that was my era. It starts at page 49. This is a special edition Famitsu Comic collection April 1992: archive.org/details/zine...

A comical illustration, mirroring shoujo manga themes, of Mario and Luigi in high school uniforms, in a park in peach blossoms, with Peach behind a tree in a school dress. 2 cats play in front of her. This is for Famitsu Comic Special Edition No. 1, April 1992, id code T1026257040780, and the 2 Zelda manga in it are:
[Strongest Hero] - IMD Noda
[最強勇者] - IMDのーだ

[Protect My Hyrule] - Kondo Rururu
[ぼくのハイラルを守って] - 近藤るるる

Tail of the Sun. Unironically. I've probably only played Minecraft and BotW for more hours. It was how I decompressed in college. I played OoT straight through and then hopped right back on this. I don't think anyone will like it but it was perfect for me.

TBH I haven't said no (I've told them I'm uncomfortable) because I was worried about exactly this. That I would be deemed a nuisance and they would find a way to deny care. Waiting months with few options is a killer. So the fact that I've seen this fear is actually real means I'm going to write
