About the OoT remake... well. I guess I'm one of those people who can only complain? I do see what they were aiming for. I LOVE the idea of a puppet theater-looking game and I think it fits Zelda very well. But based on what we've seen *so far*, I don't feel like the remake really pulls it off.

We and the people who made this nearly destroyed the earth because of supposed irreconcilable differences.

A while back, I scanned some Soviet children's books and uploaded them to Internet Archive (link: archive.org/details/@olg...) and I want to get back to it. The art in them is great and deserves to be shared.

A very happy 40th anniversary to my favourite video game series, The Legend of Zelda! February 21st, 1986 was the release date of the first game in the series. I decided to make a piece directly celebrating this first instalment. #loz #zelda40th #legendofzelda

Artwork depicting Link, Ganon, and Zelda from the first instalment of the series. Link crouches at the front with sword and shield in hand. Zelda is to his left, holding up the triforce shattered into eight, alongside the supporting cast (fairies, Impa, and the merchant). To the right is Ganon holding his ivory trident, and his minions emerge ready to attack (Stalfos, moblin, lynel, and keese). The title is written at the top in while and gold "The Legend of Zelda". The backdrop is dark green.

Today is a Zelda day! Here's a NES/Famicom Zelda fanart I haven't posted yet.

Link from The Legend of Zelda fighting a large single-horned dragon Aquamentus. Link climbs the dragon's back with a sword in his hand, to approach its head. The dragon breathes fire. In the distance, a Triforce fragment levitates over an altar.

I think my English has reached a "Chinese Room" level. My grammar is almost perfect (at least checkers say so), but I still make dumb stylistic choices because I have no idea how the words *feel*.

3 pieces to get to know me! Novel characters, (sapient) animals, "Might and Magic"-related stuff. And high level of self-criticism, i don't like 90% of my old art in general, it just didn't meet inner standards. It was a hard choice to select even this three. Quote with yours! 🫵✨

Amused to see people commenting "you can't believe anything anymore" under fake AI videos. So you're saying you could believe things *before*? All those lies, manipulation, misreading, junk info from flesh-and-blood people? Congrats, now every grandma finally learns to always stay on guard online.

The placement of some dungeons in Zelda 1's 2nd quest makes me enter the AVGN mode (What were they thinking???) I know the 2nd quest is optional, but heck, I love the dungeons themselves much more than in the 1st quest.
