Randomly came across Disney artist Frans Van Lamsweerde in one of those posts that casually boasts, “My father was an artist at Disney.” And my follow up, “What was his name?” Then the unfamiliar name, followed by a Google search. And then, “Holy Cow!” Pictured here are his private Christmas cards.

Happy 70th Anniversary, Disneyland! ✨ Julie Andrews once said that Disneyland was "Walt's gift to a weary world," and I believe that is more true now than ever. The world changes - even Walt's small park has and will continue to change - yet Disneyland remains a stalwart beacon of joy and optimism.

Cover of a phone book with a cool midcentury illustration of a cutaway view of a house with various family members in each room, each talking on the phone.

Close up of the cutaway view of the house illustration with the daughter in the upstairs room, mom in the kitchen (it's 1960, so OF COURSE), and the son in the living room.
