I’d also have Josh create a Chief Fan Officer. Someone whose entire job is to advocate for the guest, not just read dashboards. Data shows what people do, but not always why they stopped caring. Protect the magic before it gets optimized away. #DisneyCEO

AMEN TO THIS CMs have so much more insight into their areas and attractions. There's a lot to learn from them. Honestly, the biggest issue I would want to fix is actually fixing the communication pipeline between Imagineering, Park Ops, and Frontline CMs.

I was at a social media conference at the Swan (coincidentally with @deemagicgurl.bsky.social), where some of the Disney Comms professionals were guest speakers. They had to cancel as they started to strategize and execute their comms plans to shut down the Disney Parks in the U.S (and beyond).

A social-commentary image—a doctored plaque from Disneyland that says "Leave". Context to this was that the Disney Parks were closing due to COVID 19's rapid spread.

I still believe this is a terrible change that doesn’t benefit the guest. A lighting lane for each day of the stay would make more sense, but having just one for the entire stay feels excessive. Early mornings are a key selling point and one of the main benefits of staying on property at this price
