The nerve of that guy to call himself Mr. Wonderful. Everybody knows that this is the one and only Mr. Wonderful:

For more on this guy, I highly recommend checking out the mid-80s music video for the Stars of Wrestling singing (sort of) Wilson Pickett’s “The Land of 1000 Dances,” where he spends the entirety of said video doing a little dance that involves flexing and kissing his own biceps. R.I.P. legend.

Geeking out because while perusing my current rabbit-hole site of choice, TVTropes, I discovered that a joke @olibax.bsky.social and I wrote for the fan-written riff of Batman & Robin by Rifftrax (back in 2008) is highlighted under “Brick Joke”:

From TVTropes, under Rifftrax, and then Brick Joke:

• Early in Batman & Robin, when one of the cops gets hit on the head, for some reason the movie produces a very cartoony "bonk" sound.
The guys comment on the poor man's "co-conut head". Later on, Kevin makes a pun, and Mike smacks him on the head, producing the very same sound effect. Mike then apologizes to Kevin, saying that he forgot about his
"coconut head".

There are many reasons to be annoyed when someone does the whole “attempts to be funny with the ‘My Pronouns Are’” thing, and one that really sticks in my craw as a student of Strunk and White is: they’re never pronouns, but rather verbs, or proper nouns, or regular nouns, or adjectives.

Part of an article stating:

Gaetz has consistently denied any wrongdoing.

When asked for comment, Gaetz posted a screenshot of POLITICO’s request on X and wrote, “My pronouns are ‘Removed McCarthy.’”
