Yes, our hacks may be public on SMWC for download. But it wasnt put up there with the consent to be picked apart by a software or tool. I know, it just taking the levels and putting them into a compilation of sorts, but still, its still not right to make it op-out instead of op-in.

????? Okay, seriously, are we lying again? when did i said we brick other peoples pc's? Also, this repeated use of the "I am eager to talk" really gives me weird energy right now... Honestly, i can't take this seriously... and I am not lying this feels like the exact same dance like last time.

I am just a silly little guy without a big follower base who makes romhacks for the fun of it and loves art in general. I have as much to say as every other creator with good intensions in this community and don't like putting myself above others. I just voiced my concerns, there isn't much more.

Pelosi Chairs Formal Meeting

Since I have seen it go and make rounds and it being officially now being promoted, its time for me to just add my two cents to the whole "Mixtape & Kazioff" thing. Back in the past, we had a whole drama situation with a Iron Mario Bros tool, simply due to how we hack creators were treated. 1/10

mixtape and kaizoff are the products of people who do not understand the intrinsic value of art and have no interest in engaging with it. commodification of creativity and sincerity is something that can only be born of a sick world. they would have an AI generate romhacks for them if they could

#gamedev #indiedev #gamedevelopement I have spent the latest days that i felt able to with bugfixing and the implementation of the Mover Blastlings. These little ####### caused me much stress but no more. Now I seemed to have fixed all the bugs with the grapple these things came with so huzza!

Game Dev is difficult sometimes. You wanna make progress and move forward. You make something work and are proud. Then a very bad glitch appears and ruins everything. Then you fix the bug and are happy again. Until you now got 3 more bugs to fix. Then, this cycle continues. Neverending... #gamedev

Heya folks! I just recently started working on a game. However, don't expect it to look pretty yet. Its just ugly programmer art as of now, as i focus getting the main gameplay aspects done. Check the posts below for more info. 👇 #gamedev #indiedev #prototype

So, what I will say, will probably disappoint people, but I did quit the GMTK Game Jam. The project was making rapid progress but sadly time isn't on my side and its still far from done. BUT the good news, I now have a project, I wanna keep working on in the future. Finally. #gamedev

Gonna be watching the Theme announcement and maybe be on Twitch for a tiny bit brainstorming and discussing plans before probably either eagerly getting basics done or sob in the corner because of the theme...🙂 Gonna be live in 40 minutes or so... btw, new layout! 🎉 www.twitch.tv/hiro_soft

I have done something really REALLY dumb or brave (probably the former) This dude with 0 jam expierence and released games, decided to join one of the biggest jams, the GMTK game jam 31.3k people so far are competing. Was this really such a good idea? Welp... I guess there goes nothing #gamedev 😱

Soooo... I gonna be honest... I am at a loss... The project I was working on got bigger in scope than i like it so eventually it became too big to tackle for me once again... Now I am starring at the wall again with no idea what to work on next. Game Dev is hard... what do I do? #gamedev

Dang this made my belly go upside down, it's frustrating. This is good to watch for anyone who makes art, as it shows the struggles from the developers view... It's hard to find artists, sure. But the real problem at the core nowadays seems to have the connections. www.youtube.com/watch?v=rttL...

I guess this is the reason nobody knew my hack came out... fair enough. Classic. This site starts to feel more like that hellhole i just went away from. Down to the amounts of "art" lately popping up that I don't want to see. *sign, why does it have to be like this every time?

This is your friendly reminder to be careful today. It's April 1st and while jokes can be fun, sometimes they aren't and i am in particular not a fan of this day. So, be careful out there.

Hiro-sofT @hiro-soft.bsky.social · 04/03/2026

Alright, finally got around and start uploading all the parts of the Nintendesi Multiworld and the even as a bonus the little FFMQ Rando segment. I finally figured out some decent settings for Da Vinchi Resolve and it no longer gets stuck randomly (which was a pain too figure out, let me tell ya).

Alright, the first video is still gonna take a while so... sorry for the wait. 😔 Meanwhile, anybody know a usb device i could use on pc to use as a controller with little trouble (i have no soldering skillz/space)? I would be interested to make a game with a unique controller as a limitation. 😊

The first video is in the pipeline.🙂 But since I wanna be serious with my goals this year, do you guys want me to make smaller, bite-sized Lunar Magic Tutorials and if the answer is "YES" then "WHAT" do you want to see getting covered in it?☺️ Remember, can't do everything so keep the scope small.🙂

Hiro-sofT @hiro-soft.bsky.social · 01/01/2026

Forgot to mention: Last year for Christmas I made a personal SMW romhack for my brother, which included a IRL escape room esque search hunt in our house. Thats right, I actually finished something in a long time again. I used this project to play around with some stuff while ignoring the gfx side.

Hiro-sofT @hiro-soft.bsky.social · 01/01/2026

Here we go, new year, new resolutions! In 2026, my plans are: * at least ONE Team Dicks HOSTED hack (collab, solo, etc.) * at least ONE hack/mod of a non SMW hack * at least TWO new YT videos * at least THREE livestreams this year * at least ONE good enough prototype of an actual new game by myself

100

Hiro-sofT @hiro-soft.bsky.social · 01/01/2026

Well the year 2025 came to an end... and with that, i failed most of my new year's resolutions. I am sorry for being such a let down already into the year 2026. Most of these were unexpectly blocked by either IRL issues, work or motivation not being there. This year, i wanna try again, but less. 🙇‍♂️

Alright, let's finish this: www.twitch.tv/hiro_soft Going to be live soon! It's time we serve the bacon for our festive async multiworld and finish it for good. Ganon, we come for your pork! 🫵😠

And that is it, 3 streams this year i have completed! However, i plan still more until we beaten that multiworld so I hope to see ya all next time 🙂👍. I also got a lot of progress in ALTTP and SMW is beaten. Soon, Ganon goes down. I am sure of it. ✊

Hiro-sofT @hiro-soft.bsky.social · 30/11/2025

We shall continue our Async Multiworld today right now! We got capes from our friends, so let's see if we can beat SMW today and how much progress we can make in ALTTP. 👍 Where? Well, on this Twitch channel of course: www.twitch.tv/hiro_soft

Hiro-sofT @hiro-soft.bsky.social · 29/11/2025

000

www.twitch.tv/hiro_soft We continue the multiworld with some SMW to start things off and then maybe switching to ALTTP later... now that I spent the time to recollect the missing items, we can again play and progress 🥳:

Hiro-sofT @hiro-soft.bsky.social · 29/11/2025

Well, there goes an hour but we are back in business, just didn't get everything back (only the essentials) and have now a bit more keys and money than before but whatever... also i need to do reopen and redo certain doors and events but that is the least of my concerns now 🙂👍:

Hiro-sofT @hiro-soft.bsky.social · 29/11/2025

"Well this was a fun stream... did get a nice amount of progress done and can't wait to continue next time and do more things. Lets make sure my save file is there and..." FUCK 😔 Currently debating if i drop the alttp seed and just finish the smw seed. sorry once again... sigh...

Hiro-sofT @hiro-soft.bsky.social · 28/11/2025

Lol, Time to start with the promised streams for 2025... only took me 11 months 🙃. www.twitch.tv/hiro_soft We will be going to the classics and play an ALTTP and SMW randomizer seed in @nintendesi.bsky.social 's first async multiworld (with 39 seeds in total play). We about to start right NOW! 😱
