I agree: none. But complications arise when the press that publishes the journal you edit institutes a blanket AI policy without consulting any of the editors who edit their journals.

There are gold filters for the Aeropress that don’t mind getting accidentally ejected into the sink, but that doesn’t really shift the effort : enjoyment ratio.

NEW: Introducing the Bodleian Whispering Service. Too busy to read? Our expert librarians can now quietly narrate books, articles, and selected manuscripts directly to you in our reading rooms. Please note: whispering remains subject to standard library noise regulations.
Image of a promotional poster for "NEW: The Bodleian Whispering Service." It humorously details a service where users can "Request a title, Sit quietly, and Receive knowledge." Tiers include "Journal articles," "19th Century Novels," and "War and Peace (extended session)." Launching on April 1st. The poster features icons of two figures, one appearing to whisper to the other, against a background of a historic building.

While an undergrad at UCSC I took Tom Lehrer's Nature of Math course. A decade later I often saw him around Harvard Yard. After my appt to Oxford the college Math fellow wanted to know every detail of those fleeting memories: knowing someone who 'knew' Tom Lehrer gave him street cred. Thanks, Tom.
