Yandex automated traffic (not inherently malicious social media bots) dropped after an attack on Yandex infrastructure. That’s not an especially profound finding given that we’ve all seen photos of their data centres with holes in the sides. How does it prove the claims about the online far right?

But the traffic drop in question seems to be *traffic from Yandex specifically*. I could have told you that Yandex traffic had dropped, I saw two of their data centres on fire! But that doesn’t tell us anything about the amount of traffic from Russian bots in general.

For comparison, here’s the same data for Zelenskyy. Are we to believe that his engagement has dropped 96% due to attacks on Russian bot farms? I think not.

The tweethunter.io page for @ZelenskyyUa. It either shows that his engagement is 96% below the average X user, or that his engagement has fallen by 96% since the Ukrainian missile attacks on Russian bot farms, depending on who you ask.

I could see a 30fps single player console game being surprisingly playable. Fortnite is available to try for free so maybe give it a go just to see what the latency is like? It’s not perfect but it’s wayyy better than many would expect.

He does admit that it was his “earliest memory”. He clearly didn’t absorb the vast majority of what he was watching at that time, or he would’ve had lots of earlier memories. What he actually remembered was an unusual visual effect, which is about the level of kids at that age.
