I was DMing D&D a few years ago and one of my players character got dissolved in a slime. He started rolling up a new character, and I told him "There's nothing in the rules that says a dissolved wizard can't adventure." Spent two weeks unsuccessfully trying to get him to play "Chum Bucket."

Met him in 1995 after a show and I had no paper, nothing for him to sign, so I pulled out a $20 bill for him to sign and he thought I was giving it too him. Cool guy. Deaf as a post. XD
