New feature allows you to incorporate Traveller characters into Star Systems. You can generate them elsewhere and input the data into the app, which is useful for player characters. Or you can use the package-based Traveller creation directly in the app, which is useful for quicker NPC creation.

The package-based Traveller creation shows the characteristics on top which can be rolled with or without boons, then the selection of background packages (Space Habitat is selected). At the bottom we see part of the career packages, with Agent selected.

Version 1.6.285! Star Systems is a tool to help referees manage campaigns for the Traveller role-playing game or other science-fiction RPGs, such as Cepheus or Stars Without Number. The setting can be imported directly from the TravellerMap or created from scratch, or a combination of both.

The latest iteration on the Campaign panel for the Star Systems app. Additions shown: a helper text showing the last action taken (‘Took off. Time advanced by 30m.’), badges for due maintenance and life support costs (x1 badge for one month due), a ‘Salaries dues (Cr2,000)’ button to show and process salaries, a button to open in-system travel times tool (on the left of the travel status picker), several buttons to add tasks times (landing, taking off, takes ship’s thrust into account, Astrogation roll to plot jump, searching for a broker, loading unloading cargo, takes the actual cargo tonnage and the presence or not of a cargo crane into account, etc.

Part of the Star Systems app’s campaign panel which tracks the player characters’ location, the date and time, the group’s common credits, etc. The location drives the time to 100D transit, availability of refined/unrefined fuel, scooping opportunities, etc. Clicking on a player’s row opens the limited information tracked for each character, not a full character sheet, only stuff the referee wants to track, including skills and ranks used in the trade section for assessing availability of suppliers or passengers.

The new ship design/validation tool for my Star Systems app is now completed. It supports both core and High Guard rules/options. You can use it to just validate a starship or you can save a full starship with a configuration, type, name, and description. You can also add one or more images.
