Muerte entre las flores. 📷 Araña Misumena vatia zampándose a una abeja Apis mellifera.

Camuflada como una flor blanca más estaba la araña esperando a su presa, goza de un puesto de caza privilegiado.
El néctar y polen de las flores es un alimento del que dependen multitud de seres vivos, no tiene que esperar mucho para que venga alguien.
Una abeja obrera se acercó, tenía prisa, debía cumplir la cuota de polen y néctar que le exige la colmena, debía de ser la milésima flor del día. El sol calentaba sus robustos músculos de vuelo y todavía tenía fuerzas para aguantar hasta el anochecer pero esta primavera las flores tenían menos néctar y le costaba cumplir el objetivo.
No vio a tiempo quien acechaba mimetizada entre la blancura de los pétalos. Sólo sintió como los quelízeros se clavaban en la parte accesible de su exoesqueleto mientras unas patas larguísimas la inmovilizaban para después volverse todo blanco resplandeciente.
Una abeja más que no volvería ese atardecer a la colmena, algo insignificante en un universo tan grande.

La mentalidad de crecimiento continuo es hiper tóxica en el mundo empresarial. Quiero decir, la panadería de Manolo, el Bar de la Juani o la Mercería Merche no creo que lleven 40 años funcionando por haber intentado hacerles la competencia a El Corte Inglés, sino por cuidar a una clientela fiel.
