Here's the actual, correct summary of Biden's domestic presidency: He entered office with very narrow legislative margins, made worse by the fact that two of his key votes were deeply intransigent. Nonetheless he was able to consistently pass sweeping legislation.

I hate this too. Were all of us who care about equality and democracy for all, who grew up believing our world was getting fairer and better, not able to take in the reality? We just couldn't believe it, so did not act and thought, it will correct itself? Are we blinded by our privileged lives?

Disgraceful. Seattle politicians need to step up and make sure streets are safe for people, businesses. I know there are many factors causing crime including drug addition and homelessness that need good, compassionate long term solutions that have no easy fix. But at least provide safe streets now.
