So I've been running around in World of Warcraft Forever. Mostly taking photos of how the zones look and all, and I honestly think they've nailed most of it. There are some issues with seeing other zones right across the hill and seeing terrible 3d trees, but other than that? Perfect. #WoWForever

ppl are freaking out because they're targeting like ~20 characters on screen for open world content in gw3 (with more in cities) and that sounds .... entirely ok to me? gw2 was significantly hindered by its focus on massive scale open world events. id much rather something on the scale of 20 players

Up until Force Awakens I was all in the books and extended universe and all. Then I just kinda stopped. But I still think my favorite is Lana Beniko. Sith through and through. Dark sided, yes. Imperial patriot, yes. But also one of the most intelligent and pragmatic people you'd ever meet.

I genuinely believe that 99% of people complaining about this would be so much better off if they just blocked / blacklisted people that gave them the ick, or any sort of red flag. Gatekeep and curate your own experiences. Just like you'd do in RL, you don't need to offer everyone your time.

Idk how hot a take this is but Whenever someone says that XIV's community is aweful I just feel like it's a self report I've been playing on an incognito alt for a few months with no pre-established audience, no streaming, just engaging and being friendly, and the players are still wonderful
