me when an excellent jam botches the reentry into the song
a screencap from frasier where frasier and niles cheers. the text is white and says "what's the one thing better than an exquisite meal? An exquisite meal with one tiny flaw we can pick at all night"

Shocking even to us: new research finds that nearly half of Live Nation's amphitheaters are actually municipally owned; LNE is operating, often with sweetheart deals. That means state and local government is subsidizing the illegal monopoly.

In April, a jury found Live Nation liable for monopolizing the concert industry. The basic story you’ve probably heard is that Live Nation built its monopoly by buying competitors and linking its venu...

Okay 9/18/87 REALLY gets cooking at the start of the second set. I'll take this Shakedown alone over pretty much any jam in that first set

I do love a Little Red Rooster where Brent scats along with his solo. But there's no other way to say it, this one sounds like he's having sex with the B3

Missed the anniversary by a couple of days but giving 9/18/87 a listen. I have heard that Dew / Good Lovin' dozens of times, but I actually don't know if I've ever listened to the whole thing

What do you think is the meanest Grateful Dead song? I've always been of the opinion that it's Hell in a Bucket (LOT of bite in those lyrics), but I'd love to hear other opinions

The community theatre company I run is doing Into the Woods right now. We just posted about how our show was sold out, and within a few minutes we had fifteen bots comment letting people know they had tickets available.
A screenshot of Facebook comments, with white text against a gray background. Jessica Taylor says "I have tickets available and can sell them separately if needed. Just looking to transfer them to someone who can use them, not looking to make a profit." Harper Jeffrey says "Got ours unfortunately family engagement will deprive us attending. Like, comment and Dm for the four tix if interested." Barbara Emily says "I got 4 extra tix." Georgina Howell says "Would want to know is anyone still in need of tickets because still got four of our tickets I’m trying to get rid of for less due to change of plans. Thanks." Garcia Angelina says "If anyone is still searching for tickets, I've got mine available."

Crazy vibes at the Billy show tonight. Kept seeing the word “sodomize” on Billy Strings pages and thought “well this can’t be good”

About a year and a half ago, I got to interview Betty Cantor-Jackson for the Help on the Way podcast. As a plug for her GoFundMe, I compiled my favorite moments into an article: thejunkmanschoir.substack.com/p/its-all-ab...

"It's All About the Space" - My Interview with Betty Cantor-Jackson
Betty talks everything from Cornell 77, being the only woman on the Grateful Dead crew, to her relationship with the tapers.

What everybody's favorite 80s The Other One? Was going through my list of highlights and I realize basically all the ones I have noted are from the 60s and 70s. While the jam gets more compact in the 80s, there have to be some killer ones out there I just haven't heard

Just saw a video of someone singing Vera Lynn to old people in a home despite most of them being too young to remember the war, and it's unlocked a new terror in me of being elderly and them making my teenager-in-the-00s ass listen to WW2 music because "that's what old people like".
