Well, we simply couldn't resist adding an image description to this 😍🌏
Earth is luminous against an inky black sky with tiny dots of white stars. Wispy clouds swirl over a vast, deep blue ocean and land masses featuring huge sandy deserts and green vegetation. The Earth is backlit by the sun, it looks like the most beautiful ring light in existence. At the very top there's a tinge of green: the aurora borealis. The image description of the Earth, written out in full so everyone can read it and learn about alt text.

It was an absolute blast working with @coordown.bsky.social to make their groundbreaking #JustEvolve campaign accessible. Here are some lessons to bear in mind for your next campaign. (1/6)
Text reads: "4 accessibility lessons from Coordown's #JustEvolve campaign - from the team who helped make it accessible." There's a photo of Noah, the star of the campaign, looking at the camera with a knowing smile on his face, surrounded by the words "Just Evolve."

Them: Have you added alt text to the - Us: The photos of the group of dogs led by a corgi home to safety? Yes, yes we have.
Six dogs huddle by a highway barrier at night, illuminated by street lights. From left to right, a small, fluffy, white and beige dog faces away, its tail down. A golden retriever and another golden dog with shorter ears and a curled tail sniff one another’s noses, checking in on one another. A German Shepherd sits in their midst, with the stumpy back legs of the corgi poking out behind, presumably carrying out an inspection. Another brown, medium sized dog watches on. They are on a mission. The image description of the group of dogs on the highway, written out in full so it can be read and learned from by all.A pixelated, close up shot of the hero corgi who led the troupe back to safety. His name is Dapang or “big fat.” He stands under the green highway barrier, watchfully observing his doggy brethren with big, round brown eyes. His long, pointed ears flop out to the sides and his large black nose sniffs for danger - or maybe treats. His stubby front legs stick out under his long, barrel shaped body, with oversized paws on the asphalt. A good boy.The image description of the group of the hero corgi, written out in full so it can be read and learned from by all.

Huge news! We've made the vital messaging of CoorDown's new #JustEvolve campaign for #WorldDownSyndromeDay accessible to everyone. We created standard and extended audio described versions of the bold and unflinching ad, as well as penned a descriptive transcript. What do you think? #WDSD26

Adding alt text to @theatlantic.com's fantastic Paralympic Photo of the Day 👏 We love that they add descriptions on their website (go look!) and we wanted to bring the accessible vibes to Bluesky, too.
A visually impaired skier and his guide almost take flight as they speed down the Super-G course at the Paralympic Winter Games. Team France's Hyacinthe Deleplace is in mid-air, snow flying around him, as he rounds a corner. He wears a dark blue ski suit, a bib bearing the number 5, a yellow helmet and reflective goggles. He holds bright pink ski poles out to his sides with gloved hands. His guide, Perrine Clair, is in front, leaning dramatically to his right, wearing a high contrast yellow ski suit and a bib with a G on it. Both wear mouthpieces and headphones to communicate with one another. Bare tree branches are in soft focus in the background. The image description of the picture of Hyacinthe and Perrine written out in full, so everyone can read and learn from it.

Bluesky! It's me, I'm Scribely, I've come home, I'm so cold. Let me write your alt text, oh oh oh! (Translation: we've written image descriptions of stills from the new Wuthering Heights movie - a thread. Strap yourselves in.) (1/9)
Cathy in the new Wuthering Heights movie, clawing at a padded wall which looks like skin. She faces away from us, with a long, blonde, French braid in her hair and wearing a white blouse with billowing sleeves. The wall, offputtingly, features blue veins and freckles. She looks like she’s trying to tear through it and escape, and we don’t blame her.The alt text for the image of Cathy and the padded wall, written in full to show people an example of how to write image descriptions.

Did somebody say: "Every single one of Margot Robbie's Wuthering Heights Press Tour looks, now with alt text?" We did. That was us. Come with us on this thread and read descriptions of all of Margot's darkly romantic (and now, accessible) outfits. Photo credit: Andrew Mukamal, Instagram
Margot Robbie dressed for a press event for Wuthering Heights in Los Angeles, wearing a sleek, black Roberto Cavalli mini dress. The dress is accentuated by long, billowing sleeves, dangling pearl earrings, a black ribbon choker with a huge gold ruby pendant and sleek black Christian Louboutin heels. Her long, blonde hair cascades down her shoulders in gentle waves. She's wearing it in an elegant half up half down style with face framing tendrils. She looks the picture of sophistication with a dark edge.

Bad Bunny's legendary Super Bowl half-time show - with alt text. Click the 'ALT' badge to find out how we've made standout moments from Benito's important performance accessible to fans using screen readers. Photo credit: NBC.
The finale of Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime show. Underneath a huge billboard displaying the words "The only thing more powerful than hate is love," Bad Bunny strides towards us, a football under his arm. Behind him, emerging from a field of towering sugar cane in the middle of the stadium, are people playing traditional instruments and carrying the flags of the Americas, including Puerto Rico, the USA and St Kitts and Nevis. They wear white shirts and pava hats to represent labourers. Bad Bunny wears a white football jersey with broad shoulder pads, a white tie and white trousers. He has brown eyes, short black hair and a neat beard and moustache. Underneath the billboard, in the background, are thousands of spectators in the stands.

When we saw the new A$AP Rocky artwork, featuring artwork by the one and only Tim Burton, our very first thought was: "We NEED to describe these images!" Click the alt text badge to see how we've done it.
A vinyl of Don't Be Dumb by A$AP Rocky, with artwork by Tim Burton, titled "The Mayers Family." It features five stylised, skeleton-like characters posing for a family photo. The patriarch is Rocky's alter-ego, Mr Mayers, a sharp dresser in a black tie and a trench coat with a large, dramatic, jagged collar like bat wings. His skull face features dark eyes, a mischievously grinning mouth and small spikes of hair. The smiling mother figure has long tendrils for hair, with jewels crusted in it and around her dark eyes. She wears a dark top and a long, jewelled necklace. Two eerie twin boys also have short, jewelled hair, encrusted eyes and toothy grins, as well as stick arms and legs. The other child wears a black shirt and wide brimmed hat, with red spiral eyes and a cross for a nose and mouth. Its face is sheep-like, suggesting it's the black sheep of the family. At the bottom of the cover is a signature reading "AWGE" and a Parental Advisory sticker.

Some poems are written to be heard. This one was also written to be seen. Check out Scribely's descriptive transcript from Amanda Gorman's "The Hill We Climb." Five years on, this poem feels more vital than ever. Bringing back hope and light offered by @amandagorman.bsky.social. Link in comments.
