Love on Ice from JA Low is out today. I only gave it three stars overall BUT I still recommend it if you like lots of 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. The spice was spectacular. 🌶️📚💙 #booktok #bookreview

A Court Bright and Broken is a great start to a series I’m excited to follow along! Excited to see where it goes! 💙📚

I’m home from work. In my reading nest and about to start reading this ARC of A Court Bright and Broken from Amy Patrick. 📚💙 #books #booktok

I do a Google image search of the book title and add the word “spine” and for popular books I can usually just take a screenshot of one and crop it down to the spine. If that doesn’t give me anything then kind of Frankenstein one together with a screenshot of the cover from goodreads.

I meant 2024. I am obviously doing super great and my mental health is perfect.

This is what I read in January. I’m working on another shelf for 2025 maybe? Or idk.

Because of how I am as a human. Organizing things is my primary method of self-soothing. So I used Canva to make myself a virtual bookshelf so I wouldn’t buy books just to have trophies. 📚💙 #booktok #shelfie #books #canva #bookshelf

I read the Pretty Poison Trilogy over the weekend. Book one was great. A cute cozy romance. Books two and three were…. A lot. This could have just been one long book and it would’ve been better. By the end I was like “okay. That’s enough twists now” ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 🌶️📚💙 #bookreview #romancelandia

It varies. Usually 1.2-1.5 but sometimes faster if I feel like they are talking way too slow.

Just finished Phantom by H.D. Carlton Not sure how I felt about it. The spice was 14/10, as expected. But I think I struggled with the story because I knew going in where the end was headed because of Haunting Adeline. But the bonus chapter did bring it all around for me. So yay! 🌶️📚💙 #booktok

Sums up nicely how I feel. Online AND IRL. Stress hives have been a regular occurrence, I just don’t have the “health bandwidth” to stay THIS OUTRAGED for four whole years. In the meantime: I’m moving to Chicago in June and hope living around more like minded types helps with the… Everything.

I am wrecked by it. I have so many questions. And I need answers. I’m half tempted to read it again just to look for clues

If you follow me and over the course of the next weeks and months, notice I’m almost exclusively posting about things that are fun and joyful like romance novels, it’s because we will all need coping strategies and that’s one of mine. It’s not that I’ll be unaware, it’s more a survival mechanism.
