I read the Pretty Poison Trilogy over the weekend. Book one was great. A cute cozy romance. Books two and three were…. A lot. This could have just been one long book and it would’ve been better. By the end I was like “okay. That’s enough twists now” ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 🌶️📚💙 #bookreview #romancelandia

Just finished Phantom by H.D. Carlton Not sure how I felt about it. The spice was 14/10, as expected. But I think I struggled with the story because I knew going in where the end was headed because of Haunting Adeline. But the bonus chapter did bring it all around for me. So yay! 🌶️📚💙 #booktok

Sums up nicely how I feel. Online AND IRL. Stress hives have been a regular occurrence, I just don’t have the “health bandwidth” to stay THIS OUTRAGED for four whole years. In the meantime: I’m moving to Chicago in June and hope living around more like minded types helps with the… Everything.

If you follow me and over the course of the next weeks and months, notice I’m almost exclusively posting about things that are fun and joyful like romance novels, it’s because we will all need coping strategies and that’s one of mine. It’s not that I’ll be unaware, it’s more a survival mechanism.

Look. If I have to live at a time when politics are mirroring “the obvious baddies from distopian fantasy novels”, can I at least get some dragons or the ability to do magic or like a ripped hot Bat-Boy or something? This dystopia sucks.

If you think only billionaires can control social media, You are absolutely wrong. Social media is completely dependent on its users. Think about why you do or did use FB, ThreadsTik tok or Twitter. It's because they have enough users. Take away all the "normies" and they all are worthless
