Pteridium aquilinum - commonly called bracken, but I prefer it’s other name Eagle Fern If you see one breaking ground, there are likely others close by, as they are part of the same plant called a rhizome that grows up to 3.5 metres deep, 5cm in diameter, & up to 15 METRES long
