Culturally, it's been a right-wing talking point for years. In a 2024 podcast, Dan Bongino said he had
"zero doubt" the bombs were an inside job. When Bongino became the FBl's deputy director, he pushed the stalled investigation forward. During the announcement of Cole's arrest, then-Attorney
General Pam Bondi credited him with helping crack the case.
Bongino, who left the bureau in January, has not directly addressed how — or whether - his opinions on the "inside job" theory have changed. After the December arrest, he told Fox News commentator Sean Hannity in an interview: "I was paid in the past, Sean, for my opinions, that's clear, and one day I will be back in that space — but that's not what I'm paid for now."

The US Democrats need to look at their next Presidency as an endless sprint to obliterate MAGA, every day for years. Until the cancer is gone then there should be no time wasted on MAGA tears or conciliation. Only endless justice and rebuilding the democracy. Govern like every day is the last day.

If he didn't do the stupid war and pointless tariffs, if he didn't tear down the east wing, if he sent his thugs to exclusively target undocumented immigrants with criminal records - he'd probably be doing OK. Biden left him a great economy and strong allies and he just blew it all up.

There's something a little - can I use the word satisfying? - that Trump's biggest wounds are entirely self inflicted: unnecessary war with no allies or prep; painful tariffs clearly imposed as whim; airy dismissals of concerns about affordability as he builds gold-caked monuments to himself.

The NY Times says it’s “not clear“ why Trump is using taxpayer funds and not money from his super PAC for his self-glorifying ads. But it’s clear to me. It’s because HE‘S A CROOK.

because of my last name i often get calls from scammers who ask "do you speak chinese" and i repeat "english only please" until they get angry. then they insult me in chinese and i say "thank you, have a nice day" in perfect chinese and get to hear 3-4 seconds of glorious yelling before i hang up
