So as of yesterday I'm part of the Transgender Health Program at Mass General. Looking forward to getting on HRT at some point. Appointments are a fairly long way out but someday. (Hey, they are in network for my insurance, which is a big deal here.)

I went to an in-person trans support group last night. It was really amazing. I spent 2 hours in a room with 6 other trans women ranging in age from late 20s to early 60s (me), and we had so much in common. Even as the newcomer to the group I felt remarkably at ease. 1/2

I'm really scared at this point. I don't really see a way forward. Enough Democrats always vote with the Republicans to make sure that what they want gets passed. People getting murdered in broad daylight doesn't seem to matter. The system won't allow a third party. What can we do? 😟
