Hi everyone, Today we said goodbye to Melody, a member of our family for eight years. We are hurting and missing her terribly. I’ve attached a bunch of photos. I would love it if you could share these pics of her in her prime. She came to us from a storm drain and has been loved ever since.

My mecha brainrot has lead me to try watching Gundam Seed for the first time. I'm actually rather impressed at how good they are at finding increasingly-convoluted excuses to put child soldiers in giant robots.

"We knew the inner sphere was a barbaric backwater... but nothing could have prepared us for this..." Finally got some colors on a bunchnof old metal clan OmniMechs and a 3d printed building. Truly the inner sphere must be dragged out of barbarism. #battletech #mechwarrior

Found on Facebook earlier today. Someone knew *exactly* what they were doing.

Did some #onepagerules evangelism yesterday, running a king-of-the-hill teaching game for my buddy using his High Elf Fleet forces. We followed up with another game where said buddy brought Elven Jesters against our other friend and her Robot Legions and a good time was had by all.

Back in August of '24, I tried make some #wargame terrain from styrofoam and sculptamold. Today, I *finally* got back to the project and started to apply a modpodge/craft paint sealant. Hopefully this will turn into a sort of fantasy stonehenge for #warhammer or #d&d . #craft #terraincrafting #28mm

How do you go from "I don't like sand" mumbling to "The Force is with you, young Skywalker" booming intonation? I think that shortly after his rebirth as a Sith Lord, Vader started to take diction and locution lessons to give his speech a more formal, authoritative pattern. #starwars #fantheory

Forgot that I also restored these two bad boys. They started as old-school #khorne berserker bodies. After a dip into my #chaosspacemarines bitz box, they have emerged as heavy weapon Legionaries for the Brazen Beasts warband. #minipainting #Warhammer #40k #hereticastartes

A pair of Chaos space marines in brass armor with gold trim and crimson cauldron and helmets. One has a missile launcher with a pile of explosives and the other has a heavy bolter

A trio of #chaosspacemarines restorations from a bulk lot of bitz. I turned these guys into a pair of lascannon havocs and a havoc champ from the Brazen Beasts, though I'll have to print or buy some base adapters before they hit the tabletop. #warhammer #minipainting #40k #hereticastartes

First two completed kitbashed #chaosspacemarines from a bulk lot. First guy will be a Brazen Beasts Legionary with a heavy bolter and the second will be a Corpus Brethren Chosen with twin lightning claws. #warhammer #40k #kitbash

A plastic chaos space marine with an old berserker body and modern legionary bits and a plastic chaos space marine with the old body and backpack sculpt and more modern bits

Next project. Restoring some of the #chaosspacemarines that I got from a bulk sale. I should have enough bitz to rebuild most or all of them, but the challenge will be to mitigate the smaller scale so that they don't look silly standing next to the modern sculpts. #warhammer #40k #ebayrescue

Assorted chaos space marine bits from older plastic sculpts as well as two pewter sculpts from the mid-90's

Color test model for a squad of Corpus Brethren #chaosspacemarines to join my #hereticastartes forces. Wraithbone undercoat, strong tone wash, Wraithbone drybrush, and copper/brass trim. Provides a nice contrast to the mostly-red colors of the rest of the force #paintingwarhammer #paintingminis #40k

I painted these guys up awhile ago and took them off the shelf to show off to a new #D&D group I'm joining. These were originally #reaperminiatures #bonesblack minis. I call 'em Gritty Reboot Skeletor and his backup dancers. #dungeonsanddragons #ttrpg #paintingminis

Painted up some nurgley chaos doods for fun. Rather enjoyed the lord of Plagues and tried to go for a drowned look rather than the traditional green. #ageofsigmar #nurgle #Warhammer #paintingwarhammer #miniaturepainting #minipainting

It's apparently Age of Sigmar's 10th anniversary. Here's the Warhammer+ Ironjawz boss I painted up a while ago. #warhammer #aos #ageofsigmar #miniaturepainting

Just about done with these #BrazenBeasts #chaosspacemarines Doing a leadbelcher base coat with darkoath flesh #contrastpaint for the brass and nazdreg yellow for the trim. Did some snipping and gluing to give the #khorneberserker bodies some holstered pistols so I could model them with bolters #40k

Finished my #redcorsairs #chaoslord with his crazy jump pack. Went with the plasma/fist loadout for great punchlines. This guy has been getting stuff done in my local #40kcrusade and is gleefully popping guardsmen like plastic bubbles. #warhammer #40k #chaosspacemarines #minipainting

Who are the five writers who made you? Douglas Adams Frank Herbert Robert Jordan William Gibson Weiss & Hickman The last one is a bit of a cheat, but it's appropriate since the Dragonlance chronicles were formative to me as a child.

Rescuing some of my #whiteconsuls #spacemarines from their 2017 paint. The guy I used for a team leader back in 8th/9th when #Intercessors could combat squad is now a full Sergeant with a power sword. Old sarge's helmet got touch ups and he's now swaggering in with a thunder hammer. #warhammer #40k

A #deathwatch veteran sergeant ready to purge the xenos. I tried taking extra time and building up the xenophase blade from black with really thin green glaze. Also managed to not totally Bork up the eyes. #minipainting #miniaturepainting #warhammer #40k
