I got thrown off by the "gold" piece of last week's #ShowMeYourKnits that I forgot I had this autumnal WIP 😂. Bought this yarn and cast on Traveler Cowl the very next day, I was so excited to knit it, and now it's almost done just as we've started getting nice fall temps!

A bandana-style cowl in progress, alternating bits of stockinette and garter. It is Andrea Mowry's Traveler Cowl, mostly done. The colors are very fall and I think witchy. Purple, orange, green, brown, navy blue, in random changes throughout.

Yes! The best way I can think to describe it is that the friction to both starting and moving between tasks has gone down so much! I cried several times those first few days to realize how hard things had been for so long.

Gold and amber don't show up in my making much, so here's a golden coffee mug coaster I made with scrap yarn from a commission project in order to learn how to double knit before tackling a more ambitious project.

Book five - Fingersmith by Sarah Waters. This one was a slog of a read due to low reading mojo, but wow I'm glad I held onto it and finished it. Twisty, Dickensian, sapphic story that was probably one of the first few queer books on my shelves!
