I’m not sure who you mean by he. I don’t doubt she had an awful childhood and this contributed to her mental state. Nor do I think anyone should face the death penalty. But she did brutally kill another person so I struggle to extend much sympathy to her personally given that.

The death penalty is abhorrent and shouldn’t be practiced. But I struggle to feel any sympathy on a human level for this woman. She brutally took the life of another human being. She clearly had a traumatic childhood but many people do and manage to avoid murdering others.
