Went to Lakeland Cinema in rural, WI. BACKROOMS, which was fitting because the whole northern part of this state is a liminal space. Before the trailers rolled, there was a commercial for a local funeral home with cremation services.

Oh, man: that clacky bridge King says he was walking across when the idea of Pennywise came to him, it went concrete a couple days ago. I’ll miss it. Liked clacking across it, and dreaming.

A concrete bridge over Boulder Creek right off 30th. Thick metal railings. Everything’s all safe. And, if he was talking about a different bridge? They’re all concrete, now, I think. This was the last clacky one.

I’m really disappointed to hear about the cancellation of Starfleet Academy, especially after finally watching Season 1, Episode 8, "The Life of the Stars." There are so many wonderful things about that episode beyond just highlighting quirky theater kids and masterpieces like “Our Town.”
